Imtiaz Arian FCA MSI
Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1974 and was an audit manager with Arthur Andersen & Co where he specialised in investigations and corporate finance work, before becoming Corporate Finance Manager to a London stockbroker. He further developed this speciality abroad with an international trading group, before returning to London. He now specialises in regulated financial services sector and owner managed businesses.

Qualified in 1967 and became an audit partner with Tansley Witt & Co in 1973, and a partner in Arthur Andersen & Co following the merger in 1979. He is unusual in that he transferred to the tax department for six years thus combining good experience of two of the main disciplines. He specialises in providing financial, tax, and accounting advice to owner managed businesses.

Qualified in 1979 and joined Grant Thornton in London as Technical Manager in 1981. From there he became a Manager in Oxford and was offered a partnership in January 1986. He provides general corporate advice to a number of owner-managed businesses and deals with a wide range of financial sector clients.. He is the compliance partner for the corporate finance and insolvency practice and is the firm's technical partner.
